Support Group Information
To join the support group only, you must pay a $5 registration fee and fill out a registration form. This $5 fee will give you membership in our support group for one school year. You will have to renew annually during the registration period if you wish to continue your association. Once we receive your registration form and fee, you will be added to our Yahoo Group Email list. This is how you can stay “in the loop” and be connected with other members.
Activities for Support Group & Co-op Members
We try to schedule at least one field trip per month. We have gone to plays, local attractions and museums, caverns, hiking trips, baseball games, post office, and more. Some of our field trips are to help local ministries as well. We try to pick field trips that are affordable for our families.
Parent’s Night Out (PNO)
These are scheduled on occasion to give parents a much deserved night out! We may have dinner at a local restaurant, meet for coffee, hang out at a member's house, or have a craft or activity night. Parents who take the time to come, never regret it!
We offer events for the whole family several times a year. In the past we have had potluck dinners, picnics in the mountains, and an EDGE family banquet.
We occasionally have small group activities that come up that are for certain ages of children. Examples include high school cook-out and bonfire, young girls’ tea parties, middle school boys’ basketball games, and toddler play-dates. These are planned by our parents and approved by the leadership.
Students perform a Talent Show at the end of each year. This gives all of our students a chance to show off the gifts and talents that the Lord has blessed them with.
